Reflections...
A couple of things I've noticed in the restaurant business during my tenure as a 'professional' food carrier:
- Discover Card = Shitty Tip
- Hat on Sideways = Shitty Tip, and probably coming in near closing time
- Wonderful complements, "loved the service," yadi yadi yada = Shitty Tip
- Table of 4 Women at Lunch Time = $2 tip per person, and a togo cup
- Arriving for dinner at 4:00 to beat the crowd = Splitting a meal, and shitty tip
These aren't guarantees, but I'd be willing to bet a weeks tips on 'em.
