I Guess I'm Not That Smart...
I began taking classes Tuesday to work as a referee for high school football games. I thought I knew the rules of football.
Maybe I don't know them as well as I thought, or they're simply making it much more technical than it should be.
We spent an hour discussing punting, kick returns, and field goal tries. After a while, I simply had to stop listening and trust my instincts.
It can't be as complicated as these guys are making it, right?
Cool idea for a job. I know possibly less about football than anyone else in Texas.
